About

I’m just a retired guy, retired from a handful of things.

My initial endeavor was in high tech R&D. For over four decades I worked for several of the largest technology outfits: IBM and HP – with several startups in between. I worked with teams developing copiers, printers, communication devices, laptops and desktop computers. Along the way I was awarded several patents in the areas of digital communications.

After deciding that I had pursued technology long enough, I retired and opened a couple of photography studios where I did portraiture, school pictures and team sports pictures. After a bit over a decade of that, I sold the business and moved on again.

My next endeavor was an artisan coffee roasting business which occupied me for over half a decade, which I then sold to one of my larger customers who expanded from their coffee bistro to include coffee roasting.

NOW, I’m justa rambler, wandering about creating images of the beauty in world surrounding us.
